How does this compare and contrast with what Dell is doing? Also how do you think this type of approach can play out in enterprise software.

Ed.. Dell's approach is very similar. Their IdeaStorm area is also a Digg clone as is SFDC's Ideas... Dell doesnt seem to have the social networking capabilities (peer to peer social graphing, etc...) but blog, forums etc..
I think this approach is critical for the enterprise software space. its a conversational category and we have to be in the conversation to drive conversions.
