Microsoft MSN Security Flaw

Talk about dissappointing 130mm users.  a Boston-based security company found a flaw that can be exploited thru the use of a buddy icon!  The thing that makes this so insidious is that the security firm posted proof-of-concept code which was quickly co-opted and use to subvert portions of the MSN network.  Here I agree with Microsoft... that just expedited the problem.

Carly's Gone

So Carly's finally gone.  Can't say that I am sorry for her although  I truly like the fact that a woman CEO can be sacked just as easily as a man.  I'm all for one for equal opportunity sacking.  So what happened here?  Did she bite off more than she could chew?  Probably.  Was it insurmontable? Nah.  Did she piss off the founder families?  Most definitely.  I think they've been working to see her ousted since she was successful in ramming the Compaq/Tandem/Digital deal down the board's throat in 2002.  Here's what Forbes had to say.
